Types of Data Damage that we Commonly Repair:
C= errors - below are some common c= errors that we handle but by no means a comprehensive list
C=102 (list problems - usually version 5 and earlier) C=121 (invalid account type) C=225 (error reading transaction) C=291 (problem with templates) C=315 (a generic error that can occur anywhere within QuickBooks) C=342 (usually followed by an IPF in APPCORE.DLL - damaged data tree) C=43 (can't read transaction - usually incomplete transaction) C=44 (can't write transaction - usually incomplete transaction) C=47 (can't find transaction - usually while running a report or opening a file with saved desktop) C=53 (list item still exists after being deleted) C=79 (problem with inventory data) C=88 (problem reading one or more of the data trees in the file - often occurs after error code 55 or 59 - loss of network connection)

Error in QBWIN(32).DLL GPF/IPF in BC450RTL.DLL (version 5 and earlier) GPF/IPF in QBCI.DLL QBCI32.DLL (can be similar to c=88 but usually more severe) GPF/IPF in QBPAY.DLL QBPAY32.DLL GPF/IPF in QBTOOLS.DLL QBTOOL32.DLL GPF/IPF in QBWRPT.DLL QBRPT32.DLL IPF in APPCORE.DLL IPF in ELCORE.DLL
Some types of online errors as in the following examples... Online Account Damage (lightning bolt disappears or is on one or more wrong account(s)) Error c=43 when attempting to process online transactions Error Message: "An error has occurred. If this is the first time using this account, or you have manually modified your account data, please check your account setup, otherwise call tech support" Error Message: "The Financial institution no longer supports online banking and online payment. Your inactive online account information has been deleted" followed by "QBW - an error has occurred in your program... Close or Ignore" when closing a QBW file (close & ignore both result in GPF in module QBCHAOS.DLL).

After completion of the data recovery service request page, you will be sent a link to upload your file to a secure server. In the event of damaged media (a bad backup on floppy disks that won't restore) we recommend that you send the original disks by overnight mail.
